Our Sacred Land is pleased to announce: The First Annual "Gathering Of Communities"
On Sunday, October 12, 2008, Our-Sacred-Land will host the first annual "Gathering of Communities". This will be a Mountain wide event consisting of various groups/communities and businesses interested in promoting and supporting all the different spiritual paths that exist.
While traveling around to the various groups/communities on the White Mountains, a common thread existed and many of the same questions were being asked.... that being..... how can we find about all the events in other communities and what they are all about. After sitting with this for awhile, I felt the time was right for the White Mountains communities/groups to gather and share who they are, in a peaceful and heartfelt way. Discussions with some memebers of the different groups

- Holding sacred space for all
- Monthly Full Moon Fire/Drummings
- Bi-weekly (2nd and 4th Wednesdays) group meetings
- Nature walks
- Group discussions
- Movies nights
- Lending book library
- Lending library for VHS, CD and DVD's
Soon to come:
- Drum making classes
- Medicine Bag making classes
- Locating and establishing the Medicine Wheel (in place now woooo hoooo) :-)
- Locating and establishing the Sweat Lodge
- Guest speakers
- Possibly an observatory for viewing the stars
